Principal Engineer Robert Rivera PE, CEM

The principal engineer, Robert Rivera, brings a wide array of experience and certifications to the professional work provided by Rivera Engineering. His is a certified energy manager as well as a green building engineer. With over 30 years of experience, Robert's skill has shown itself blatantly in the work he does. Robert is a member of many different organizations including ASHRAE (American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers), ASPE (American Society of Plumbing Engineers), and AEE (Association of Energy Engineers). Some of Robert's experience includes ASHRAE Manual “J” heating and cooling load calculations, HVAC analysis and design concepts, heat transfer, hydraulics, power generation and control systems. Additional skills pertain to the application of AutoCAD software and the Trane Trace 700 and Carrier E20-II HVAC system software programs for modeling and analyzing building heating and cooling loads for maximum efficiency.
